Discover the Bahamas' marine life in the most modern form of glass-bottom boating — gliding over it in your fully transparent kayak! On this excursion you will: Begin your adventure of discovery aboard a sleek double-deck catamaran, the M/V Blue Manta. Enjoy the tropical island music playing in the background as you cruise through Nassau harbor. Listen to a narrated tour which recants the history of one of the oldest waterfront cities in the western hemisphere. Arrive at the kayak site and listen as your experienced guide gives a short safety briefing and demonstration. Board your two-person kayak and follow your guide on this guided adventure. Gaze down through your transparent kayak to see the tropical fish and marine life as you paddle. Purchase some food to feed the fish and watch them gather. Reach your final destination and enjoy the opportunity to jump in and snorkel for a closer look underwater or bask in the sun on the uncovered top deck of the catamaran. Note: Minimum age is 12 years. Maximum weight is 450 lbs per Kayak or 225 lbs per person. Two guests per kayak. Life vest, kayak and snorkel equipment, and one bottled water or soda are included. Light snacks and fish food are available for purchase. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries, high blood pressure or heart conditions are not permitted. Kayak/snorkel site is subject to change based on tidal and weather conditions.
