Experience the Ultimate Adventure during the zipline, rappel, and cave tubing excursion.
When was the last time you did something “Exhilarating” and “Out of this World” for the first time? This is it! It is the Ultimate Adventure at Jaguar Paw. Feel the adrenaline rush with ziplining across Belize's lush rainforest, rappelling down from atop the Crystal Cave to the start of your cave tubing experience and then end your adventure by cave tubing through the cool waters of the Caves Branch River. Get ready to ZIP, WHIP AND DIP and take an adventure on the wild side.
Board your air-conditioned bus at the pier for the start of your adventure that will take you to our remote jungle location outpost Jaguar Paw named after a famous Mayan king. Your bus journey will take approximately 75 minutes, where your professionally and internationally trained and certified local guide will entertain you until you arrive at our tour outpost where the fun and adventure will continue. After a short safety briefing, your guide will take you to be outfitted with our high angle certified equipment and gears. Upon arriving at the first platform you will experience your first dose of adventure where you will glide above the canopy of the rainforest. You will then continue through a series of traverse lines ranging from 100 feet to 500 feet in distance. Feel like a bird as you soar above the jungle canopy and feel the wind beneath your wings and make sure you look to observe all your surroundings.
As you complete your zipline adventure and with adrenaline pumping, you will hike through jungle trails under the high canopy of the rainforest where you will be taught about the different uses of the rainforest, medicinal and survival techniques of our local trees and plants in the rainforest. As you arrive at the top of the Crystal Cave, stop and stand at the edge of the world and get ready to descend a sheer wall of 150 feet high. This is rappelling at its best!. Something only seen in the movies and only available at Jaguar Paw but this time you are the star as you rappel down to the cave branch river entrance to start the next part of your adventure.
As you descend to the final element of this wild experience, take it all in as you make your way to the river's edge. Here you will then be outfitted with headlamps and life vests as you get ready to tube through the cave system. Feel the coolness of the waters as you relax in your tubes and float down the Caves Branch River. Filled with magnificent formations, geological wonders as well as Mayan ceremonial history, you will experience the Maya underworld at its best through this river tubing experience. Your imagination runs wild as your guide points out different forms and images.
As you exit the river system on your tube, you will be escorted by your guide through a short trail back to the jungle base camp where you will enjoy a delicious Belizean lunch at our Jaguar Jungle Café. Take a moment to purchase your photos or some ice cold beers at the Jungle Café bar before returning to the ship with memories to last a lifetime.
