On this excursion you will:
Begin with a 45-minute coaster bus ride to the starting point where you will receive your equipment and an orientation.
Head into the water as you get ready to explore Xaymaca, as it was named by the Taino Indians meaning “Land of wood and water.”
Paddle downstream with your nature guide leading the way.
Learn about the history, flora and fauna while enjoying the serenity of one of Jamaica's famous rivers.
Stop along the way and reawaken your inner child as you test your Tarzan skills on the river rope swing, or simply relax and enjoy a swim before continuing your journey downstream to the end of your river experience.
Note: Minimum age is 12 years; maximum weight is 240 lbs. Helmets and life vests are provided. Swimsuit, shorts, aqua shoes, sunscreen, insect repellant and a towel are recommended. Photos, souvenirs and snacks are available for purchase on site. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries are not permitted on this excursion.
