Enjoy a scenic boat ride to experience Starfish Landing, nurse sharks and rays in the crystal clear shallow waters at the edge of the famous Belize Barrier Reef.
Depart from the cruise terminal pier on one of our comfortable motor vessels for the scenic 60 (approx.) boat ride to the charming tropical island of Caye Caulker. This historic little island, is located along the edge of Belize's Barrier Reef, home to the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere; beautiful coral formations and marine life abound in these pristine tropical waters.
Here is your chance to interact with Starfish, Stingrays and Nurse Sharks. Depart from the pier on a motor vessel for a scenic boat ride to the historic and charming island of Caye Caulker, located adjacent to Belize's Barrier Reef, home to beautiful coral formations and abundant sea life. On the way to your shark/ray encounter, you will stop at a shallow sandbar for a swim with giant starfish, after this you will continue your educational and scenic trip to Shark/Ray Alley. Here you will enter the water in small groups, with your knowledgeable guide, who will entice the gentle marine animals to come in close for a very personal encounter. Climb back aboard your waiting vessel for the short ride back to the island, where you will dock at the world famous Split and Lazy Lizard Restaurant, here you can purchase drinks, a meal or snack. NOTE: Round trip transfer to Barrier Reef is approx. 2 hrs. Free rum punch on board the vessel on return trip. Aqua shoes are recommended in the water and may be rented for $3.00. Min age is 5 years old. Max weight is 275 lbs.
There will be time to explore the village, purchase a souvenir or just sit back and relax, before departing from this tropical paradise. When you leave the dock, there will be a quick stop to feed the frisky tarpon, then on the relaxing ride back to the cruise pier, you will be served complementary rum punch or fruit punch and listen to rhythmic Caribbean vibes.

Must be a strong swimmer and be able to climb in and out of the boat using three step diving ladder.
